Value Analysis

SSAC carries out Value Analysis reviews on capital project effectiveness covering:

• A reconfirmation of the objectives that underlined the project in its conception to ensure that on completion, the objectives are still relevant and achievable.
• A confirmation that the activities and output of the project are consistent with its mandate and are linked to the attainment of the objectives.
• Assessing the impact and effects - both intended and unintended - resulting from the execution of the project and
• Ascertainment of the revenue or cost savings reported since the completion of the project confirming whether or not the project has achieved what was expected and the assessment of the reasons for failure to meet objectives and to determine how this can be remedied.
